The investigation bord...
The investigation is out of the origional Sweedish film 'The girl with the dragon tattoo'. A jurnalist travels to the Sweeden to investigate the fate of a missing girl, Hariet Vanger, presumed dead. During the investigation a list of five names and numbers are found in Hariet's diary, whilst trying to identify these people and what they mean they uncover a serial killer and realise she new who it was. The series of numberes after each name refered to the manner in which the girl was killed.

I wnted to create photos of each of the murder victims so i started by taking five portraits like this one and turning them black and white.

I then downloaded a scratch / worn texture of diviant art and overlayed it onto each or the portraits and lowered the oppacity as they are all old photos, i then ended up with my final five old photos of the murder victims.

I also added a photo of an old sweedish map

Some of my ideas for my final studio film genre based photos...........

I will use tungsten light and use the string to cast shaddows onto the back drop

For this i would still use tungsten lighting but use objects/doorways etc to create a more interesting background.

For this i could try both flash and tungsten, and just use the gun as a prop.

This is an easily recognisable position from the action or crime genre.

This would be an experiment with backdrops, sets and props.

These are all fillm stills that are similar to the idea that i want to create........

I really like the simplicity of these photos but the film genre (s) that they belong to is easily recognisable and that is how i would like my photos to look.
